I have spent the past 20 years in the media and data sales arena.
I cut my teeth working for the local newspaper group in advertising sales..
Before my wife clipped my wings I had become International Sales Manager for DMG World Media within chemicals/coating sector travelling the world and managing some of the company’s largest clients Bayer & BASF within the exhibition and events we produced.
For the past 8 years I have worked specifically within the Data industry and for the past four years as an Account Director for REaD Group which is the UK’s largest independent Data Communications Group. My role was to manage the Reseller division, ensuring the products they produced were being effectively used by Data Bureaux and clients a like. This allowed me to develop my understanding and knowledge of best practice of direct marketing, how to implement these campaigns and why it is so important you undertake de duplication, cleaning and verification of data files prior to campaigns being sent.
