DAVID MURRAY
Sales Director
Like most people of my era, I fell into Direct Marketing. The first proper job I had was a post room boy for an Architectural practice in Guildford. Within the practice there were the “Cool” graphics team and I thought that would be a good career, so I put myself through night school doing an HND in Graphic Design. Having completed the course I realised that perhaps my talents (and long lunches!!) lay elsewhere and on moving to the West Country “fell” into my first DM job with Wace Print on the DM Sales and Account Management side. After three years at Wace I had a two year stint at K2 Direct Mail, three years at Thamesdown Marketing Services and almost four years at Occam before joining The Software Bureau in 2007.
