Suppression Files

We have recently teamed up with the industry’s leading suppression file owners, Millennium, Royal Mail, Equifax, REaD Group and the DMA and now can offer suppression files embedded within Cygnus as a separate module totaling over 130 million suppression records. This means that the user can have complete control over suppressing their data and as the declaration is automated we can offer great savings and making suppressing data not just a luxury but best practice to any campaign or database. The ES (embedded suppression) module will allow you to run your data against the suppression files listed below at both permanent and non permanent levels.

How do suppression files work?

Simple – It works by us encrypting the files from the dataset suppliers then in the suppression module you will use “tick boxes” to decide which suppressions you want to run and at what level and match rate. You can run this as many times as you wish to get the correct match level and only when the data is exported will you are charged for the suppressions. The royalties due are emailed to us each month and reconciled with a new key. We have added one or two pence per match to cover administration costs...

All updates are sent to you on DVD or Charge Stick as they would with a direct relationship with each supplier.

Address Re-direction

Not only can you suppress using the ES Module you can also redirect addresses by using Equifax's reConnection service or the newly added NCOA redirection service without having to leave Cygnus.
