Cygnus provides full PAF software functionality via our integration of the widely used Capscan API.
Cygnus' PAF module is straightforward to use with an uncomplicated user interface. Standard PAF options will enable you to update an address at a variety of levels, from simply validating a postcode to fully enhancing the address.
Prior to creating this module Cygnus' developers commissioned a review of PAF and it's uses within the DM industry and found that many bureaux were using PAF as the backbone of their processing. Whilst this approach has it's benefits, it also relies too heavily on one data-set and matching techniques. Of course these are less accurate when the data is of poor quality, as is often the case with telemarketing or web generated records.
When communicating with a prospect or customer, their initial perception can be affected by the presentation of a personal piece of information such as their address. The ability to control and enhance what PAF brings to the table has been refined by cygnus' developers, so that important information such as House Names and Locality information are retained. Further, cygnus' PAF module also allows postcode based data to be appended to your data as you process. Elements such as; CBC, Delivery Point Suffixes, grid references, electoral wards etc. can be added as standard within your PAF processing.
